Life-centered planning: human and planetary health brought together
Project description
Life-centered planning -project develops a methodological framework that can mediate the needs of humans and other species using a multispecies justice lens. We will apply this new more-than-human framework in empirical studies in cities to identify potential conflicts and opportunities that may arise from co-habitation of humans and non-humans. Public Participation Geographic Information System (PPGIS) methodology will be used to combine GIS human and non-human experiential and behavioural knowledge with structural characteristics of the natural and built environment. We will use existing and new PPGIS data to build predictive models of environmental health promotion.
