ENERGYSCAPE – Recommendations for Landscape Development through Renewable Energy Infrastructures in Switzerland

Project description

Social preferences for landscape development with a combination of different infrastructures of renewable energies were systematically investigated in an online panel survey representative for the Swiss population and a 3D virtual laboratory experiment. The recommendations derived from the results can help to better integrate the landscape assessment of renewable energy infrastructures from the population’s point of view into landscape development strategies and concepts. In this way, they contribute to promoting a socially accepted landscape development. Further information: energyscape.ethz.ch/index_EN.html
